I saw one at NAIAS (hardtop, obviously) and it's tiny. I still prefer the IDx, but I'm glad to see this market is beginning to open up.
Speaking of the IDx, I'd bet it would look glorious as a drop top.

YES.
With the rumored ~275hp 2.0T-GDI engine from the Genesis Coupe, and RWD...
And with those looks... I would SO buy that... quite possibly trade in my Miata for it, as a convertible.
I thought the fastback coupe was great, with styling somewhat reminiscent of the 71 Plymouth GTX..
But the convertible is EVEN BETTER.
Kia NEEDS to build this... and not cut corners with it. The headlights should stay as close to the same position as possible, even if they have to go to standard halogen, with LED markers and signals.

I think Kia could pull off the headlights doing something like the CTS
If Kia builds this or the coupe, I'm 100% getting one. It looks the business and after watching the Fifth Gear review of the Pro 'ceed GT, it sounds like they are finally starting to wrap their heads around chassis tuning.

Kia seemed to imply they were very interested in making it happen. Of course that's happened before with the GT, the Provo, the Track'ster, the Soul'ster, the 3 door Soul...
